Before you get all excited...This is a video pre-FFS. The FFS has been ordered and will go on in the next few weeks.
This is a video of me running around the Shenandoah Circuit at Summit Point (WV) last weekend . My little yellow bumblebee was a terror out there. There were quite a few high HP, high $$ cars that were not very happy with me.
I ran in the red group (Advanced). It was wet on the 1st day so I took it very slow. It dried up the 2nd day and the hunt was on. I ran the last 3 sessions and never once had to give a point by. I have never ran one session without giving somebody a point by, let alone 3.
This is the 1st time running this track and have to say that it is my new favorite track.
I was running sub 2 minute laps naturally aspirtated. I can't wait to see what I can do with a tad more power.

That was great video. You should really wake them up with the Coldside.
You are going to get a lot of hearts to stop beating when you talk about your 92 Coldside. ;)

Yes they are Sportmax 002s.
I put the flares on to clear the 275s that I run for autocross. When I put my track wheels back on the car (Kosei K1-TS 15x7), it looked rediculous. There was a good 2" gap from the edge of the wheel to the edge of the fender. It looked like a monster truck with stock tires. The 15x8 0 offset filled the fenders nicely.

I know those wheels are kinda frowned upon at Mnet. I have a friend who is pushing me to try the wheel flares from Racinglifestyle.com and fill them out with Sportmax 15x8 0 et's. Should support some 225/45-15 RA-1's nicely.

I am running 225/45-15 RA-1s on the track. I must say the the 225s feel much better on 8" wheels than they ever did on 7" wheels. There is much less sidewall flex with the 8" wheels. I don't really have to wait for the tire to "set" anymore. It's kinda nice.

Alright post FFS comparison. Same track a little different configuration with the FFS.
I was running 1:42s, a little over 2 seconds off 1st place at the Redline time attack last year. I was running really rich, so obviously down on power. I run with the guy in the 350z all the time and normally I am right on his bumper till about 120mph. As you can see in this video, he was pulling me hard. I need to get back to the dyno. I thought I had an air leak in either the intake path or injectors and evidently I did. After taking everything appart and resealing it, my wideback goes off scale rich at a little over half throttle.
Some fresh tires and a better tune and I should be knocking on the door this year at the Redline event.
Tom, are you sure you don't want to put some stickers on my car? It would suck for me to do well at an event this year and not be able to mention how I got the extra power. Plus, I could really use some tire money. :D
