For those of you that are curious, this is how the FFS Hotside will ship. 85% pre-assembled. Install the crank pulley. Loosen two center exhaust manifold nuts, replace the studs, drop the kit on the studs, align the SC and Crank pulleys and tighten. The tensioner is all ready for the belt install and is pre-aligned. Auto tensioner means no adjustments. Add the 3" hose to the BTB to the MAF and air filter and that part is done. Mount the DTB and install the 5th injector and run the crossover pipe and that part is done. Plug in the PC-Pros and run the two wires and vac/boost tube to the intake manifold and that is done. Mount the IAC and that is done. A few minor vacuum hoses and you are basically ready to drive your 200 WHP hotside.

Edit: TPS is shown for clarity only. Not included with the kit. Your stock TPS is used.

That really looks like a simple install. (Its not fair that you make it so easy...)

Is that a TPS mounted on the unit? Does it replace the stock one?

EDIT: I see the TPS is not included (from the other thread)

I would guess that if you spend more than 6 hours to install, you aren't trying. :)

Thanks for the heads up on the TPS. I edited the post.

Isn't that bypass hose incorrectly connected? It will never see boost when connected to the TBA.

No. I am even thinking of connecting it to the VDB on the Coldside. The bypass closes at ~5" Hg. It never needs to see boost.

Why don't you send me a demo unit and I can try the install on my 97. I will let you know how easy it really is. ;)

I will offer a 10% discount on orders from now to Christmas. I can start shipping in two weeks. Let me know. So far, idle and instant boost are very close to the Coldside.

Dan, It ought to look familiar. ;)

Magnamx-5, it is the 1.6L kit. I duplicated the thread in the main Hotside section as well.
