And finally some track footage. The camera is in my brother's awd mitsu eclipse gsx. only putting out ~225awhp in its current tune (~10 psi), He just finished up installing injectors, fuel pump, and exhaust, so 350awhp (20ish psi) is a turn of the boost controller away. The video shows 1 lap spliced from the day, around 2:40 the miata makes an appearance.

Your brother really needs a new camera mount. I couldn't watch it all.

Great looking car. I can't wait to get my car back to the track with the added power.

Ya, his camera mount is pretty bad, and the camear is really heavy which makes matters worse. I just like the part at 2:45 where we come on to the front straight and you can hear the supercharger whine, I shift to 4th and start putting some distance between us, shift to 5th just after the start/finish, 120 mph off the banking, and then quite sideways at 90+mph twice in turns 1-2.

I dont get to see the track until Dec 15-16, the cold air should be nice.

Not bad for running in the rain. :)

Cold weather makes great power and poor traction. Why did God plan that?

Nice pics and vid! Your car looks like mine except its white with a hardtop. I also have the 949Racing 6UL +40 nickels :)

I love wet/cold, as is forces me to be smooth. But its difficult to see the improvements since the majority of my data acquisition is from dry weekends.

I love the nickel 949racing 6UL's (+36 in my case). they look phenomenal and 224/45 RA1's have so much grip. I'm going to try 225/50 next time to see if the extra tread width and taller gearing work on track.
