Hi Tom,
I as browsing through the instruction manuals, and a recent revision caught my eye - all versions now instruct that we should NOT use Loctite on the intake manifold - cylinder head nuts. :cry: Why the emphatic instruction? In previous versions or prior discussions, we were advised to use Loctite blue on everything... so I did...

The factory doesn't do it so I don't see a need to do it. No biggie if you did. They are serrated nuts and, like the serrated nut on the center bolt for the auto-tensioner, they hold very well with no loktite.

I have mixed emotions about the four pulley bolts as well. I don't use loktite and have never had a problem. I just worry about snapping one of them trying to break it loose. It would be a PITA to get out.
