When my car had engine work done, they replaced the cam cover with an ugly purple-ish pearlescent. It ruins the whole engine bay. A polished alum. or chrome would be nice.
Also if any of you have rims under 18'' and wider than 6'' that you need to get rid of, ill be happy to take them off your hands, as my car is also an almost-daily driver.
Thanx

Mike at "Mike's Place (http://www.mikes-place.biz/)" has polished cam covers. They look like chrome. I think that is what most people do. Contact them for pricing.
This is their "chrome" page. http://www.mikes-place.biz/index.php?menutopic=Engine&submenu=Chrome&hmenustr=Home

Lots of places on the net offer polishing services. I started, by having my valve cover done before being sc'ed, and look now!:flowers: I use a guy in FL, that is really, very reasonable. Send me a pm, if you like, and I'll send you his web url.

I have some 17x8 x40 Konig 14 spoke with 215/40-17's on them that I need to move out of the shop. I can get a shot of them if you like. Have no idea what it would cost to ship.

Here's the shots of the Konig rims with Yokohama Parada Spec-2 tires ... 215/70-17. Rims are 17x8 - 40 offset. These were on my 2002 when I bought the car. They are not "pristine" but don't look bad from 5'!

How much do you want for them? Are they painted or polished?

$150 (wheels & tires) and you pay the shipping. They are painted silver (original finish as far as I can tell). Biggest blemish is from someone laying them face down probably on a concrete floor which put rub marks on the spokes as they are the highest point when layed down that way.

WOW!! Although, I was looking for polished or chrome, was there any problems with rubbing? Im on 13x8's for autocross, and there is some slight rub lock to lock.

I did not experience any rubbing issues ... but mine is a 2002 so there might be some difference in steering angles, etc? Not sure.

Is that $150 per wheel or $150 altogether? And you still don't know what it would cost to ship?

$150 for all 4 wheels & tires. I will check this afternoon at UPS and see what they say.

Wheels & tires shipped in 4 separate boxes (24x24x10) which was the cheapest way is right at $38 per wheel ($152 total shipping) to zip 33901.

zip is 33991. Might take a few weeks for me to come up with the money, but I'm definetly interseted. May I see a few more pics? Like of the damage?

I'll get some closer pictures in the next day or so and post them. The zip code might make a little difference in shipping cost but I would think not a lot.

You can see the rub marks on the spokes ... all 4 have these from where they were layed face down and scooted. Rim damage is pretty minimul but is on the wheel in the 2nd picture and you can see a little in the 1st picture right at the bottom.
