My car is going crazy and i don't know why. When im crusing at 35 in 3rd gear i can feel it the most. The car will go and then drop like 1-2 mph. And then accelerate clumsely(lightened flywheel) back to where it was. What would be the cause of this? Bad spark plug/spark plug wires, diff. fluid, transmission? It got down to like 50 degrees today. Would the coldness cause this?

I assume you are off boost and trying to hold a steady speed. Does it feel like its stumbling? If so, I would swap the plug wires. Worst case is you have an spare set when you inevitably need them.
Do you have an AF meter you can watch? Does it go lean? Perhaps a clogged fuel filter?

i dont have an a/f meter, yes it does feel like its stumbling. My father says its probably a plug wire as well

Miata coils also seem to be a source of headache.

I have never really heard of much problems with the NA coils. Seems to be primarily and NB issue.

Coils are the "auto-transformers" that creat the high voltage energy to create the spark on the spark plugs.

The coils are located at the back of the valve cover. There are two of them with two prongs each. These prongs are what the spark plug wires connect to.
