Adjustment of support bracket.

When you installed your coldside intake manifold ,what is the correct way to adjust the support bracket. The support arm that runs from the bottom of the intake manifold to the side of the engine block ? Did you put any amount of up force preload on it?

After securing the ends, hand tighten the turnbuckle in the direction to extend it and put force against the manifold. Shouldn't need any more than hand tight. Then tighten the lock nuts.
