The manufacturer of the PC-Pro confirmed Friday that there is/was a problem with the compiler for the PC-Pro software. The effect might be a problem with cards I have programmed as far back as November. Most of the cards I have shipped have used older files and won't have any problem.
Symptom: When starting the engine for the first time in the morning, especially on a cold morning, there is the potenetial for the card to calibrate the atmospheric pressure value incorrectly. This can cause driveability issues and is demonstrated by 'Boost' fuel coming on early. As early as 10" Hg vacuum. Normally this has been corrected by shuttting off the engine and re-starting.
Corrective Action: Anyone experiencing this problem is welcome to send me the card/harness and I will re-flash them for you. Just remember your settings and put them back when the cards are returned.
Note: This apparently has no effect on the Timing Cards as they use a different compiler.
Sorry for the problem.
