QMAX coolant reroute

I just seen :eek: a new kit listed at www.gearheadsgarage.com . This kit address the rerouting of the collant thru the head and curing the #4 hot spot. Looks like they are going to develope a kit specific for application to the FFS ColdSide. I am not trying to push this product ,as I have no experiance with it. There is a thread on Mnet about it , for what ever that is worth. It does look promising.Check it out and let me know what you think!

Yes, this kit is a great idea and really fills a need for the Miata community. Until now, all of the coolant reroutes have been mainly one-off custom jobs that may or may not be as effective. I have a reroute on my '94 but I don't have an EGR pipe because the guy that did the fabrication didn't want to go to the trouble of making a new pipe. I believe that Steve's kit includes a re-shaped pipe. I may have Steve make a pipe for me so I can finally get rid of my eternal CEL.
