Here is the before and after from the mods we did to Chuck's 2000. The before was a dyno he did in California. As you know, when he got here to AZ where the fuel is marginal and the heat is intense, he couldn't get past 5000 RPM without serious ping. The after dyno was done Tuesday in 112F heat on AZ91 fuel and no ping. Isn't E-Cool properly applied a great thing? :) Power would have been higher but the 6 rib belt was slipping pretty badly. Tomorrow (Friday) we will take a shot at correcting that problem.
I think we can get one more pulley change and another 10WHP after we fix the belt problem.

First, my car is a 99. :)
Second, whereas 172HP was fun, 200+ is definitely an E ticket ride. There is literally nothing on the road that I can't hang with. I left most Mustangs, Camaros and Hondas behind at 170HP, now... :D

Now its time to dust police camaros, vettes and mustangs, eh Chuck? ;)

I think I'm actually a little disappointed that no one has tried to race me. Although an Acura RSX Vrroomed by me at a light the other day just as I was trying to trun into a shopping center. Maybe he was trying to get me to race? Hmm. :D

when are you headed back to the dyno?
and how much boost are you making?
Still no pinging? Nice!
I'm installing my E-Cool tonight if I can just figure out how to wire it....

If you have a digital Multimeter, just probe the DIAG box until you find the 12v power when you turn on the car. The ground you can find the same way.
The hardest is the wire to tap for the RPM. Easiest way is to find the wires off the Crank Angle Sensor underneath the crank pulley. Than find the same wires under the DIAG box.
On my 99:
POWER - BLACK/white stripe
GROUND - BLACK/Blue Stripe
RPM - GREEN/Yellow Stripe

Any thoughts of installing an A/A IC Chuck?

Any thoughts of installing an A/A IC Chuck?
Sure I have thought about it. But the more I learn, the more I realize that ANOTHER obstruction in front of the car to block the airflow will only hurt the power goals.
