It looks like I am going to try to sell my car, as I found a pretty good deal on a different car that I have always wanted. It is a 99 Miata, and it pretty well loaded (basically the later LS model). It has full power, cruise, bose stereo, body kit, tan leather/top, a/c and power steering, and 15" wheelw with Kumho tires. It has just over 78,100 miles on it. I bought it used just over a year ago, and it was stock. Last season I added a intake, header, and exhaust. Over the winter I added quite a bit more, so most items have under 300 miles on them.

It has the following mods:

-Fidanza flywheel/Exedy clutch/Fidanza short throw shifter
-K&N Typhoon intake with Monsterflow heat shield
-Brainstorm header/Goodwin midpipe and muffler
-Toyota COP conversion
-Polished intake manifold matched to head with heat shield gasket
-180 deg T-stat
-Custom engine damper and front strut tower brace (not in pics below, but installed)
-Odyssey 680 battery
-MOMO steering wheel (280mm Team) w/custom hub (deletes air bag)
-Koni shocks/GC coilovers (525 front/350 rear)
-RB hollow 1.125 front sway bar with gearheads endlinks (no bar in rear)
-Brembo rotors/Hawk pads (HPS front/HP+ rear)

Also included are new 13x8 Rota RBs with used 235/13 V700s, as well as all stock parts that were removed. The body is in decent shape with a few dings/scratches here and there, but the car runs and drives great. I actually hate to sell it, as it is a little go cart, but I can't afford both. I am asking $12,500 OBO. Here are some pics:

Looks like a beautiful car! Unfortunately, I think your expectations are very much on the high side... your mods add little it any value, and in fact may lower the value. Many buyers see "modded" car and assume it was driven hard/raced.

I'd say you should expect approx. $10k for the car if you're patient and find the right buyer.

I'm open to offers, that's just a number. If it comes to it, I'll return it to stock, and sell the car and parts seperately.

Jason-
If you're in no rush to sell, I think that's a wise course; I wasn't meaning to be negative, just trying to provide some constructive comments. To the right buyer those well done improvements will bring value; unfortunately, most buyers either don't know what they are are don't care/want them. Probably why you seel so many of them for sale here and there.

Personally, I think this car would be a great FFS Coldside candidate!

LOL, I've thought about it, and it looks like the deal that I had might be falling through. We'll see what happens.

Well, I bought the new car, so I need to sell this. I'll throw in the tire trailer for the right price.

The car no longer includes the Rota wheels and race tires, but includes everything else including all stock parts and a tire trailer. Asking $10,000.

No luck selling it as is, so I am returning it completely to stock. Asking $8,900 OBO. Will also be selling all parts if interested.
