Is The PC Pro Universal ?

Tom is the PC Pro universal or are there different variations for different years ?

I have a 1.8 94 and a 1.6 91 and I'd like to test it on both.

Is this possible ?

Griff,

The PC-Pro is universal but the 1.6L (batch fired injectors) requires a different file than the 1.8L (sequential fired injectors). Also, the harness is the same for the 90-95 but the wiring changes. 90-93 are the same but 94-95 have the injectors different as there are two more of them.

The PC-Pro will work but it will need to be re-flashed for the 2000. However, the harness is completely different for the 2000 from the 2001.

90-93 use the same harness and wiring. Harness #1.
94-95 use the same harness as the 90-93 (Harness #1) but the wiring changes.
96-97 use Harness #2 and different wiring from the 94-95.
99-00 also use Harness #2 but different wiring from the 96-97.
01-05 use Harness #3 and different wiring from any of the others.

Now Tom,

Say I was to be buying a 2000 Miata and I already have the charger off of my 2001.. What would you charge me to change up to the 2000 spec PCPRO. I've got MAYBE 5000km on this PCPRO since I bought it off you.

Boy are you 3-4 days late. Last week Jack bought Rob's used 2000 kit to put on his 2001. I rewired his. You guys could've just swapped.

I get $200 for the harness and do the cut and wire and re-flash for free. You can even have the old harness back.
