Hey Tom,
What would the issues be with a 1.6 to 1.8 conversion in conjunction with your FFS kit? I know you have to keep the 1.6 ecu and coil pack (per FM). Would there be any other fitment issues with an FFS kit with this configuration?

Little to no issues. I would just have to send the proper 90-93 PC-Pro and harness assembly. What year is your car?

Tom,
Well I currently have a 92 that at some point in the future will need an engine replace. Engine is still good but has 165k. So I'm wondering if it would be a better bet to just convert to a 1.8 now. What are your thoughts on this?
If I were to purchase the 1.6 kit which is hopefully to be released soon what would the $ amount be for a changeover if I were to then convert to a 1.8 in the future? What exactly would need to be swapped then? The PC Pro and harness assembly that you mention and the brackets, etc?
Thanks for your help!

If you are going to do the engine swap, now is the time to do it. There is too many parts to change to make it worthwhie later. Cards, harness, intake manifold and several brackets. The first three items make it a real cost issue.
