I'm going to install my old M45 in my brother's Miata. He currently has my old powercard. He noticed Moss sells a boost upgrade which includes the Timing Card and PC-Pro.
The dilemma is i feel the Timing card is better solution to the old Jackson Boost Timing Controller offered by Moss. They don't sell the Timing Card separately. But then he'd be stuck with the less feature-rich PC-Pro. I remember the 16-wire version offered more benefits, but can't find the benefits based on any searches.
Can someone list the additional benefits of the 16-wire PC-Pro? I just want him to be aware of the trade-offs before making a decision.

What year car are you going to put the M45 on?
I am on my PDA tonight. When I get to my computer in the morning, I'll answer as best as I can.

There is the PC-Pro and the PowerCard TC2. Both look similar. If the kit includes the Moss version of the PC-Pro, it is the same device with 6 wires as with 16. They simply delete the unused wires. The injector wires on their version tap onto the four injector wires. In the version I use, we cut the wires and run the PC-Pro in series. Both methods reach the same goal.
The reason I asked the year of your car was that the Timing Card doesn't work on the 90-93 Miatas. Sounds like a good deal from Moss to me. It'll work just fine.

FWIW - On a '99+ I'm not fond of tapping the wires (a'la MOSS) since the ECU, specifically the long-term fuel trim, may not be able to compensate. Tom's solution (cutting the wires and installing the PC-Pro in series) is better, IMHO.
FYI - I currently have an upgraded JRSC M45 system that is similar to the one you described sans the timing card. It includes:
'00 JRSC M45 with newer belt tensioner bracket.
62.5mm SC nose pulley (from TDR), yields over 8-psi boost on OEM I&E.
PC-Pro (16-wire) from FFS that is flashed with Tom's M45 settings.
* E-cool 5th injector from FFS (second PC-Pro wired into the same harness as the primary).
I don't have the timing card but the system is perfectly fine running CA 91-octane gas.
I won't debate the preference of the timing card versus intake cooling (E-cool, WI or FMIC) but only state that I prefer the latter. I've effectively maximized the potential/cost-benefit for the JRSC so the next step is a MP62-based kit (or maybe a four-rotor Eaton by the time I get to it).
