After 12 months of having problems with two shops and one tuner I finally found the right tuner. This guy has the dyno dynamics dyno that is the unit Grassroots says is the best dyno to use.

Before I ask you the question I have you should know that this guy flies all over the country taking care of peoples cars. This week he is flying to New Jersey.

He said that he ran into a problem with the car on the dyno. The problem was that at 6200 rpm the engine felt like it had hit the rev limiter and kind of had a series of spuders. He attributed this to a problem with the plugs and suggested that I replacement them with NGK that are two steps below the recommended plugs for the car. What do you think.

Interestingly, this guy has been on Pinks. He got sponsors to pay for the car, which he lost. He is too nice of a guy to lie when he negotiates.

Before I left the shop he asked if I wanted him to wipe off the fingerprints impressions on the fenders!!!!

Oh he charged me the outrageous rate of $60 and hour.

Man an I

I talked to him today and he was really on the ball. Asked a few questions on how to adjust and was on his way.

Sounds right - I'm running NGK BKR-7EIX on mine - the Iridiums seem to make a difference for other reasons as well.

ps: My overdriven JRSC M45 seems to make more heat than than the MP62 at 10-psi.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I bought them. Should they have the correct gap?

They will come out of the box with the correct gap. 0.030 to 0.032.
