After spending some time thinking about the output of the speed sensor (I had it reading as a 0..5vdc device) I reprogramed the SSI-4 to read frequency to see what happened. Attached is the data generated up to 80 mph (car on jack stands) then extrapolated to 130. I now have to learn how to do math on the speed input channel in LogWorks2 in order to have MPH show up on the graph and not cps. If I export to Excel its easy to do the math. Tomorrows project!

That looks more like it.

The curve posted in #1 is not correct ... I did that with the car on jackstands. Actual number came out Hz*0.268465=MPH for 215/40-16 tires. The speeds are based on GPS calibrated speeds so should be pretty close. I'll know more when I go to the track and put the Traqmate in the car. I also checked the numbers against RPM so should be pretty close.
