If I had a problem with the power wire that goes to the altenator and it melted some of the wire and maybe fried my altenator what other problems could I of caused???
I am going to have the altenator tested .
Could I of fried my ECU ? or Anything else Important?

Anything is possible. I'm guessing you will have to take it one step at a time.
Does anybody know if it would be OK for him to put electrical tape on the wire that goes to the alternator and try to connect the battery again to see if the 100 Amp fuse still blows?

Not sure, I would get the alternator tested and get a new wire just to be safe.

Well tested the battery and altenator both tested ok. But the size of the spark is very large when I try to hook up the batter neg, cable that if I put all the way on it blows the main fuse. The wire going to the altenator was pretty melted so it must be melted else where and I have a short somewhere? I am in real trouble now?

I would ask Rich or Eric Johnson at Backstreet Performance to give you a hand. Ask them if they could do house call to find your problem. Eric and Rich really know Miata's and have helped me in the past. They may charge you an hour or two of labor but it sounds like a good investment at this point.

The insulation on the alternator wire would have been very hot as it melted the cover up at the terminal. It could have also melted insulation someplace else and be shorting to ground. If not the alternator or battery, could it have somehow damaged the starter? I like Chip's suggestion. Might e time for professional help.

Well you were right. Got professional help. Battey ok, altenator ok and ECU is ok we found a wire fused together and had wire not insulated when attached to altenator so the ground was not working. Anyway it is fixed and working well .... FINALLY>>
