Low vacuum and can't make boost

Hey Tom,

driving to work today, I noticed my vac/boost gauge was only reading around 5inHg at idle when it normally reads around 19. Also, I can't get above 5psi boost where as before I would get 10psi. Do you have any ideas?

My guess is a hose came off someplace. Ought to be able to hear the hiss at idle. Check the hoses under the hood. Also check the hoses at the PC-Pros.

I had a hose come off of one of the cards at the track .. probably from moving stuff around in the glove box as my camera goes there. I spotted it on the AFR ... didn't think to look at the boost gauge.

Thanks guys, you nailed it. Hose was off of the timing card that I hide away in the glove box. Idle is back to normal. Did not get to check the boost, as the 2 & 4 year olds were in the car. Tomorrow on the way to work I will for sure. Thanks again.

Tie the hose to the wires so it stays in place.
