Hey Tom, do you forsee a comming plug-in adapter for the ECU? This is for us California folks who may need to R&R from time to time.

Pat,
I don't see one. There is a total of 9 wires to connect and they all have push on connectors. It takes a few seconds to connect or disconnect the wires. I do have one of the other guys PNP out of my '99 you can have for $100. I took it out because it was my third one. The first two had problems. There is a LOT of hand made connections in it and there is just to great a margin for error. The last one I had installed, I had a JR BTC plugged in and never got it to work right. When I pulled it to dispose of it, I found out the signal was not properly getting through the PNP. The new one was working OK when I pulled it, I guess. But I never used all of the features (connectors) so some of them could be bad as well??
Let me know if you want it. It is for a 99/00.

That's ok Tom. I'll take your word for it. It's just that thinking about wiring makes me want to take a nap. I'll tackle a suspension, or a timing belt no problem, but I was hoping for a shortcut on the electrical thing :P . I guess I can handle 9 wires.

There are six wires on the PC and 3 wires on the SS. Both have 12V and GND so there is actually only 7 wires that need to be tapped. On mine, I tapped the 12V and GND from the SS right on the 12V and GND of the PC. You can actually prewire those two befor installing them.
All-in-all it is really no biggie and you save the expense and potential problems of the PNP.
