I have a small batch of them now. If you want one, they will be $20 including shipping. Drop me an email and I will send it out to you. I should have them back from anodize early next week. Sorry about the $20 but the cost was high as I had to go and buy a press break to do the bends.

Looks sweet! :)
I see some are cut on both sides with an extra pulley hole and others cut on one side with only one hole. Is this for the bypass relocation?

That was the idea but it didn't work. The bypass re-location version has to be a different design.

Hey Tom,
Did you get my envelop yet?
Tom @ Fast Forward

Envelope , what envelope? Do you mean the one with the $20 bill in it? Nope, never saw it. Can you tell me the serial number on the bill?
I am off to the shop this morning. They wait to get a load of parts before they send them out for anodize. If they are still there do you want one plain? They look pretty good that way on the systems I am shipping. Let me know.

I'll wait till they get anonized. No rush. Usually I don't send cash, but I ran out of checks temporarily. The $60 is on the way for the pulley. Mailed it out yesterday.

Thanks for the quick reply. I will push them to get anodized. The problem is cost. The anodize shop charges the same for 1 part as they do for a box full.

hey Tom,
How do the new brackets look?
Tom @ Fast Forward

Same as they did last week. :( They never made it to anodize. I am ready to get a can of black paint and spray them. I can't believe such a simple part can be held up this long because of color. A plain aluminum one is going on my 99 today. I apologize profusely.

They are in the mailing envelopes. I just need to drop them off at the PO and get the postage correct.

Tom,
I just recieved the bracket. It's missing the 90 degree bracket to mount to the throttle body adapter plate. Also the part where the throttle cable attaches is really angled ackwardly to the point that the cable will not line up with the pulley. Lastly, it came with 2 large hollow screw like cylinders, what are these for?

We don't use the small bracket.
Did it get bent in shipping? It should be square to the pulley. Send it back and I'll replace it.
The two small short nipples are in case you want to switch to stainless from brass on the two short nips. One is from the TB to it's vacuum manifold and the other is from the TBA to it's vacuum manifold. Install is your option. Mine are still the brass ones and have had no problem. Ari had one braek so I switched the FFS kits to stainless and thought as long as I was sending you stuff I would include them.

I'll try to hammer the bracket back into shape.
So there's only one screw that holds the bracket to the supercharger?

I'll gladly replace it. Send me a picture if you would.
Yep. One screw.

I got the bracket installed yesterday. A couple of observations.
It won't fit with the freedom STB. Also, I think it's important to have the 90 degree bracket. Even though I tighten that bolt way down, I can still rock the bracket.

I have the same problem with alignment of pulley and cable, with the nuts
on the pulley you can adjust it but it has to go towards the SC and there
is only 1/16 of an inch before touching SC and I need a little more than
a 1/8th. I could bend the bracket out but then the cable would be slightly
out of line with the throttle bodys throttle assembly. I also have the freedom SB and no it doesn't clear the bracket but I figure I can dremel
out a corner and it will fit. We also had to drill a new hole (Actually slotted
down the hole) 1/4" becaus the pulley rubbed on the threads of the cable
housing when cable was adjusted properly.
Oh an one more thing, one of the bends on the bracket has a stress
crack but I think it will hold up.

Seems there is a variation in the cable lengths of the throttle cables. I found 1.125 pulleys and 1.25" pulleys. I shipped them with 1.25 as that worked here. Seems some cables work better with the 1.125 pulley as it allows the cable adjust to get further away from the pulley. Home Depot has two pulleys in a pack for a couple bucks.

After conversing with Tom about the cable being adjusted as tight as possible and still having alot of slop I changed the pulley from the 1.125" to a 1.25". It was still much to loose so I picked up a sliding door bracket assembly from Home Depot with a 1.50" pulley. I had to take the bracket apart and then press out the center "axle" before installing in the bracket Tom sent. Fitment is now perfect with the 1.50" and even have a little room left to tighten later on if I need to. I would imagine the cable has stretched all it's going to but I wanted some leeway just in case. It's alot tighter fitment with the larger pulley but nothing seems to be hitting, rubbing or otherwise interfering with operation of the accelerator. There is obviously a wide degree of variance between individua cars. It now seems to work like a champ and really, really cleaned up the engine bay making things much neater. It really makes for alot more professional looking install. Thanks very much Tom!!!

I am working on making a small angle bracket to tie it to the TBA bolt. I'll keep you posted.
