View Full Version : Lowering boost with smaller pulleys

I'm considering running a smaller pulley due to time-attack classing changes. Is it safe to assume that my fueling will correct for less boost? Should I disconnect the E-cool injector since I'll be at the 170WHP range?

Ari,

I would turn down the E-Cool but not off. You've got it, use it. It helps cool even at low WHP. I would use it as it is there.

Thanks for the tip! I'll just swap the pulley and leave it at that and give it a go since it also is sensing boost so it should spray the correct amount for it too. I assume a lower amount for less boost for a given RPM.

That'd be my guess as well. Spray tapers off pretty quick as boost goes down as temperature is not a linear function with boost.
