hesitation

I have finished the SC install and everything seems to be working great.
But I do have one question, When we first start the car run it for a few seconds then go, as we start to go the car has a slight hesitation then all of a sudden it surges forward and its gone till the car cools done and we start this process all over again. Any Ideas? Why ?

The consensus is that its the vvt. More specifically, the thickness of cold oil activitating the vvt. Once it warms up, everything is fine. But until then, its touch and go. I lessen the problem by using 2nd gear instead of first for the first few mins.

will a thinner Oil help. I use 5W20 in my MSM , but 10W30 in the 02 w/SC
