Hi,
I just bought a new PC-Pro. didn't realize I would get 10' of wire ( j/k)

Where would be a good place to put this? I prefer the stealth look, although I do have a boost gauge in a pillar pod.

My current Powercard is velco bound to the ECU making it a PITA to check lights.

Don't plan on making adjustments - just want to set and forget after I make it to a dyno to fine tune it.

Works nicely for me tucked away behind the fuse access panel. But I did not have that much wire to work with.

How about velcro'd to the left hand side of your glove box so that a co-pilot can adjust on the fly if need be?

I used to make them with 12" of wire to mount in the fuse box. Then came ECool and the fuse box got tight. Then came the Timing Card and people complained that it was not easy to adjust with the short wires. I Went to the 8' wires so that you can go over the center and reach the glove box, go under the carpet and put it in the center console or behind the passenger seat in the seatback pocket or behind the driver's seat, etc. As Gman said, it is nice to have it handy. The two PC-Pros are typically set/forget but the TC can be real handy to have close for those days, as I have found out, where you get bad gas or are so tired that you pick the 87 octane pump instead of 91 octane. Been there too. :)

finally getting caught up and beginning to install the PC-Pro. This has to be a really stupid question. What size line connects to the PC-Pro? I have the standard 1/8 gauge plastic line running inside the car, but if fits too loose on the Pc-Pro nipple

Joe,

If you bought it direct from me, it should have come either with a foot of 2.5mm ID blue surgical tubing connected to the nipple or some footage of 2.5mm hard tubing.

Tom,

I did buy it directly from you. I do not remember seeing any in the box, but possible I could have lost it.

Think I could find something at the local parts store? I work near a health supply store, could walk in with a pair of sissors :)

Drop me an email with name/address and I will drop some in the mail. The hard black tube will fit snug on the nipple and inside the 1/8" tube you have.

done, thanks for the quick response!

Only wish you would have had a system out at the same time as the BRP original kit. Your customer service is second to none.

I think mine was the third hotside (Ashley) BRP built/sold. It is thanks to that and it's performance that there is a Coldside. :)

FWIW, I really like putting the cards in the glovebox. There is still plenty of room for putting other things in the glovebox, yet you can make adjustments very easily. Yet, it is still out of sight to keep you from making too many adjustments :), and at the same time keeps a very clean look. Finally, I like how the vacuum hose can make a very short route and conveniently go through that rubber plug in the firewall right in front of the glovebox.
