I was one of the first to buy the BRP kit. Did not care for the split second unit and went with the powercard. A lot better but not perfect. Just glad I did not decide to try the ELF!

Have a A/W intercooler and maximum boost is about 8 lbs.

Now I bought the PC-Pro, but wondering if I should add the timing controller?

Don't think I had an issue with ping but like Tom says you never know when you'll get a bad tank of gas.

Joe, what octane fuel are you using? 8PSI is right on the cusp. At 6PSI and down, TC is not needed. Above 8PSI, I would recommend it. 6-8PSI would depend on what grade fuel and how hot ambient temps get, etc.

usually in the summer, I can buy good quality 93 octane. Living in Ohio, I only drive on nice sunny days so I can afford purchasing good gas fill up about once a month

temperature in the summer around mid 70s low 80s maybe in August we will get a few 90s

You are probably OK without it then. Do you ever hear any ping?
