I have a 94 with an older BRP hotside MP62. Moss has the new style outlet manifolds on sale....is it really worth 10hp? I would be happy with 5hp. The kit is non-ic and is running a 95mm pulley.
Thanks, Bill

I've often pondered getting one as well BUT looking at their baseline "dyno" results reading upwards of 185 and the improved results reading over 200 just doesn't sit well. My post BRP MP62 S1 install measured only 167 HP corrected.
Instead I opted for a PC Pro and 100mm. Last dyno was 180 HP SAE corrected.

I guess I am guilty of drifting my own thread but...
This car dynoed at 160 at the wheels before I bought it. It has a bipes to pull timing. I assume this is the reason for the low #s. I can eliminate the bipes completely, but I like being able to pull timing for track days/super hot days/bad fuel.
Anyway, how is the A/F ratios with the PC pro and the 100mm pulley?

We did before and after on Chuck's 99 Hotside. Around ~200 WHP, we picked up 10 WHP.

The Seat of the Pants Dyno felt great as well after the new outlet manifold was installed. I remember thinking that it "felt" like a lot more than 10 HP, but the dyno doesn't lie.
BTW, the Before/after dyno runs were back to back on the same dyno session. We ran a few (?) dyno runs with the old set-up, then replaced the outlet mani, then ran the next set of dyno runs so nothing was changed on either my car or the dyno itself. We did before and after on Chuck's 99 Hotside. Around ~200 WHP, we picked up 10 WHP.

Bill,
My last dyno results are discussed in this thread. After reading Chuck's testament, maybe I'll take advantage of this sale as well.

Do you think only a higher HP application benefits from the outlet manifold?
My car is app. 160 at the wheels.....should I expect a similar % gain?

I don't think so. The less air flow (HP) you have the less difference it would make but it is not linear. At 160 WHP, it would probably make only a couple HP at best.

Is this really a sale item? I can't seem to find a sale tag on it anywhere. Honestly, it would be nice if they just lowered the price because I may have to wait until tax returns before I can purchase this. I have been wanting it for a long time though!

Their web site can be tricky at times when an item is on sale.

If memory serves me, that dyno chart is the one we did on Chuck's car.

I called them just to double check on manifold. It is on sale and the sale lasts until May 15th. That should be enough time to get not only the manifold, but a pulley or two from Tom
