Dan called today and told me he was running a bit behind. I can relate to that. :) I should have it next Monday. It is a stock 94 engine with some exhaust upgrades like a JR header. I will run a series of tests and log them here.

Just to bring everybody up to date. When Dan built his system, he did a re-route of the cooling system to feed water to the back of the engine for better cooling of #4 cylinder. A great idea and I am contemplating the same. However, when he went to start the car, he found it has a dead cam angle sensor and removing it, which would normally be simple, is a real project as part of the re-route interferes with it's removal. He is also in the construction industry. As most of you know Phoenix was right at the top of the list for new construction last year and is still going strong this year. He is working 70 hour weeks and just hasn't got around to it. As soon as he has it running, I will take it for a few days and see what we can get out of it. The good news is that he is working 70 hour weeks and doesn't have time for it after it's running either so we get it for as long as needed. :)
It is a 94-97 so I think I can get 210+ with the extra injector. His system is a BRP system so it only has a spot for the injector pre-blower. Not sure how well that will do but we will try. If it doesn't do well, we will convert to e-cool and try again.
Sorry for the delay but I assure you he is doing all he can.

Dan just called and told me he is having it hauled over to Mike's Place and let them fix the CAS so it should be in my hands in short order. Thank you Dan.

He was going to try and get it over to Mike's Place this week. I doubt they will take more than a day or two to have it running.

It will be fine. It has a bad CAS, we think, and he just didn't have time to fix it. Probably in and out of MIke's in less than 3 days. It was the coolant re-route that created the access problem to the CAS. I'll get you some pictures tomorrow. It is a gorgeous install. His engine compartment is real clean.

Mike got it yesterday and started on it today AND it runs. Actually, it runs great. :)
Problem was the cam gears indexed wrong on the cam shafts. Cam gears were indexed properly to the timing belt but the cams were way off.
It will finish up tomorrow.

I get her first. :-)
Dyno and increased power here we come. As this was one of the original 94-97 kits, the only way to convert it to e-cool would be a new manifold with the injector in the manifold. The spacer is only 1/2" so no room for it there like we did for my 99 and 05 and Ari's 99. Soooooo, we will put the extra injector pre-blower and see how much power we can make. With 9:1 CR it should make over 200.

Dyno is scheduled for Tuesday at 10:00 AM
