Wiring harness and EGR valve ?

Hi all,

From the day I installed my Coldside, I have been wondering if I am the only having issues with the wiring harness touching the EGR valve. Of course, the EGR becomes very hot so I wrapped the harness with aluminized heat shield at the time to protect it.

What is the best way to route the wiring harness safely and out of the way of very hot parts ?

Several people have had a problem with it but once they tie the wires out of the way, the problem never seems to come back.

I found a long cable tie around the harness to a fixed part on the engine did the job, I used a solid oil pipe iirc. As have you turned the bracket that holds the harness as detailed in Tom's instructions?

Someone would have a clean picture of a properly routed harness ?
