I have had new software installed in the PC cards in AZ. 3.000 miles ago.
I have vacuum problems leaks fixed and changed vacuum lines changed to re route the vacuum so that the hard brakes problem are gone.
I have put on over 5,000 K since my last code and 0171 came back ? ? ? ?

codes are
PID 02 = 0171
PID 03 = 0200
LOOP IS OPEN
PID 04 = 25
LOO14
PID 05 = 89
PID 06 = 90
PID 07 = 9A
PID OC = 065C
RPM 814 = 0

The car was just started after sitting at my sons house for about 4 hours.
No code showed up on the drive there. Haven't even driven at all when the code showed up right at start up?

Reset it and see if it returns. How many miles on the car by now? Maybe the front O2 is tired from all those miles at rich conditions??

Total miles are 41,200 and I will reset it. But it might be awhile for it to show again. Last time it came was on way to your place in May, Tom. Not sure but think we did replace a 02 sensor.

Adjust the idle screw then. When you started the car, did the idle dip by any chance? Even just for a second or two?

Yes the idle did dip for a couple seconds and the A/f was all over the place too.

I think when you adjust the idle screw, the rest will cure itself.

Well reset the idle with long needle nose pliers, very carefully . Stll could not get the allen wrench in. Also put in the white plastic restrictor you gave me for exhaust manifold. car is running GREAT...
