Here's a in-car video of my 1:24s lap at Arroyo Seco Raceway.

No more shaky cam with my new roll bar mount :)

Great driving!! I love the controlled drifts and how you clipped every apex.

Thanks Bill,
I'm nowhere as fast as I used to be with the coldside, but I have gotten much smoother. Less power means you have to carry more speed through the turns. Hopefully, you guys can come over sometime for "testing".

Sounds like a plan!

All I need is an engine. :(

I just bought an engine from www.engineandtransmissionworld.com for $1495 shipped for an engine with 39K.

Compression, leakdown and oil pressure tested and carfax certified. They include the test results and a default 6 month warranty and you can purchase a 3 year warranty for $295 (covers labor and shipping).

Why did you buy an engine? for the other Miata you bought?

Yup :)

Thanks, its my best NA lap ever. I'm realizing that I need cold air for NA too. I'm tempted to keep the last cold air box for myself.

On the track, I've chased down Porsches to the point that the drivers think that they can't outrun me and try to let me pass and on the straights and realize that they have to brake to let me pass them.

The last trackday I was sandwiched between a Lamborghini Gallardo and a Lamborghini convertible and the first Gallardo was towed off the track and I never saw the second Lambo on my tail on the track.

Just goes to show how far great driving and a Miata can go. Track time + handling + low cost = great combination for the weekend racer :). Ari, do you have any lap time comparisons of how your setup when it has the FFS SC compares to the current normally aspirated setup?

When I had the SC, my best time was 1:19.2s and my best NA time is 1:24.5s. I think I could have hit 1:18s if I still had the blower.

Another question :), any lap times at that track for turbo Miatas?

None have entered a time attack event.
