I'm thinking about installing some type of Oil Temp. sensor and gauge. What are some products that you guys have used to do this?
Thanks,
Evan

You might ask on M.net and do a vender search for "THOMPSON" and a search for "oil coolers", just think it out, it could be one of thoses slippery slope, like just starting out to fix a leaky shower fixture and end up remodleing the whole bathroom

I used Westach gauges. (from Track Dog) The sensors ar relatively compact and easy to install. They also are two wire units, so they don't need to be grounded through the sensor body. Wayne's right that the gauges end up all tying together with cooling etc. There are some good (Daz's) and not so good setups you can find on mnet. Thompson ( http://www.thompson-automotive.com/relocation.html ) makes a nice filter relocation kit. I used the Mocal oil thermostat from FM. ( http://www.flyinmiata.com/index.php?deptid=4533&parentid=0&stocknumber=04-37310%20%201994-05 ) I ended up having a boss welded into the side of this for my oil temp sender and used one of these ( http://www.holley.com/100200ERL.asp ) for an oil pressure idiot light sender location. Don' use this for the temp sender as the sender blocks off most of the passage. It eventually all comes together.
