Tom, I'm going to connect the TB to the MAF using a 3" elbow. Then connect the airfilter to the MAF. The MAF is still using the plastic OEM casing. It's going to go Air filter>>MAF>>Elbow>>TB. Do so see a potential problem with this? Like being too close to the TB, or too close to a bend?

Ari was going to try that as well. It would elbow down and direct connect with the air filter now back by the firewall. I think it will work. MAF need a give distance before and after the sensor for proper measurement but I am pretty sure that is taken care of by the length of the MAF body.

The FFS systems no longer locate the Intake Air Temp sensor in the end of the air filter. Just locate it someplace cool in the engine compartment. It was touching the radiator and getting a false reading of air temperature and that was pulling timing. I assume BRP passed that info on to you when I discovered it but, just in case......

Interesting, I don't think anyone knows about the Air temp and radiator thing.

I want to mount it vertically under the manifold. I have to wait until I get my blower to test fit it. I think the spare flex hose we cut may be too small, I have to mount it to be sure.

Hmm. It does ad a couple HP. There appears to be a trigger intake temperature where the ECU pulls timing in anticipation of knock even though there is none. With it touching the radiator, it appears to exceed that temperature and cost a couple HP. I could only guess why they wouldn't pass that on?
