Party time. I have it on good authority that the 90-93 will be listed as CARB approved in about a week.

They are really nice people to work with if you are lovable like me. I finished and sent the 'conditions of surrender' papers last night. :)

Maybe they way a 200 pound W/A IC(?) because that huge hunk of metal looks cute?

Congratulations Tom!

Just gotta say... that thread on mnet about the 1.6L was outrageous. I think the mods on mnet don't understand how to moderate a forum.

I think you should post a new thread, and we can just ignore all those losers who like to make trouble.

I should have the paperwork in my hands and on the CARB website in a week or so. I say we wait until then and then have a show of CARB support over there. :)

I think at that time you should also do a dyno sheet with yours overlayed on "theirs". You can show the difference in power and the difference between a safe AFR and the 13.6 or something that Corky says was fine.

We won't see the manifold until week after next. So it will be December before we have any WHP numbers. Don't want to wait that long to make hay about CARB.

Any news yet? Or are all the CARB personnel on furlough? :gunsmilie:

Unofficially it is a done deal. Officially, I should have word Friday and be up on the ARB site Monday/Tuesday.

Would that happen to be CARB approval?

You need to change your signature line.

Thanks guys. We will retire the 1.6L hotside as soon as 1.6L Coldsides start shipping. Why hold Kings when you can draw Aces?
