I just installed a set of JICs. No time yet to run them but I'm sure they will be great. My stock Bilsteins just didn't cut it at high speed and high speed stops. I'm sure that properly set Bilsteins would be fine.

Thom,
I currently have FM springs and KYB AGX shocks. I replaced them separately a couple of years ago. Though I am happy with the combo, if I had to do it over again, I would probably go with the Tein Basics or Tein SS.
The price I paid for the FM/KYB is pretty close to what the basics cost now.

Well, I'll get the first ride on them this afternoon after we dyno Jon's 99 and the 05. I'll run up and swap the 05 for the 99 and test them on the way to Cleveland. I hope they road ride OK or it is going to be a long 4000+ miles.

I look forward to testing them out in an autocross event!

Are they adjustable shocks? The car they are going on doesn't autocrossed just fast runs throught the Gap in Tenn. I want a good shock
for high speeds and high speed stops as Tom puts it. So adjustable is not Important.
Thanks Thom

Tom let me know how they were when we see each other. I am very interested.

Well, they rode home just fine. I do notice that the travel is a lot less than stock. If you go over a hump in the road, the car used to rise up with you. Now you simply rise to the occasion all by your self. :)
The are set to stock body lift (height), pre-load minimal and ride at about 5 clicks out of 9 (basically centered).
