Just thought it might be fun to see some of the acceleration times of some of the members in addition to Tom's vid. 0-60 or 1/4 mile.

Please also post your pulley sizes and/or WHP.

I can only post my one and only deceleration time at this point:

100 to 0 in maybe 2.5 to three seconds, courtesy of armco...

..and I am here in the flesh to post about it!

Oh, 130/65mm pulley combo, 200whp w/very conservative tuning, if you want to get technical..

I dont know the standard for braking times to be used as a measuring stick, but that seems extremely fast. What type of braking system are you using?

I should have posted this in the FFS Dynos section. Only interested in cars with FFS kits.

First, I am glad both of you are alright. Second, 110 mph on a freeway onramp! I am glad you dont live in my part of town. California requires people to wear seat belts and for a good reason.

I've had my encounters with guardrials, but what did the most damage was the other 2 cars that ran into mine after it bounced back onto the middle of the freeway. The ground was also wet, and I was 18. Many years have passed and lessons learned. I hope you've learned yours.

Cars and wives are replaceable, but the functional capacity to drive is not.

This is my data. Tom chastised me for not shifting quicker but I am a road race guy not a 1/4 mile guy. This is the standard setup on a 2002 VVT Miata.

If anyone has the iphone, you can get an app for about $10 that is about equivalent to a gtech. A friend of mine used it on his VW R32 and it was quite accurate! It matched the magazine specs almost spot on. I don't have the iphone... and I don't want one, but it looks like a cool app.

They made a version of the Dynolicous IPhone app for my Blackberry Storm. Pretty accurate as long as you know your vehicle's exact weight and what your driveline losses are.

I have a free app in mine that does what you describe, plus a few more nifty tricks.
