You were being kind to that other Miata. :) Must have been a turbo? ;)

Haha, not just any turbo. It was Hustler/Black Jesus on the other forums. He got to see that FFS banner you sent me walk away from him. I put it on the back glass on the hardtop since thats the view most people get to see :D.

What's even better is I was on street tires (RS3) and he was on r-compounds (NT01).

The lines he ran in 50% of the corners are nothing to write home about!

Shhhhh...thats the turbo line. Give away the corners and make it up on the straights!

LOL. No wonder he always gives us a hard time. His car should be green. I can explain if you don't get it. LOL.

I saw that line. I can remember my "drill instructor" a couple years back at Bondurant. "The line is more important than the speed". He also looked like he was "Fast in and slow out". I kind of remember that to be backwards too. LOL

When you run water injection, make sure you have enough water!

Looks like if you have an FFZS Coldside, you can drive better than if you have a turbo? :)

I think the FFS sticker gives extra grip in addition to the 5hp!

It is due to the added weight on the rear wheels. ;)

I think someone who isn't banned from Mturbo.net  ought to post this video on their supercharger section.

lol they are on there already. they chose to focus on my suspension rather than the supercharger as the difference between the cars.

There is a TX Miata Challenge event this weekend, so FFS should get somemore good press assuming i do well. I'd love to beat up on the turbo kiddies on their home track.

Just wait when I get our High Output option done in a few months :).

From what I have seen in racing, there is an unlimited number of excuses one can come up with for getting beat. But the thing is, when one gets beat one gets beat. I think you have proven that the Coldside certainly doesn't suffer from any power nor reliability problems on the track .

I guess that is the difference between racing dynos and racing in real life. Try as I may to explain to the disbelievers that it isn't just about the steady dyno numbers, but output vs. time (i.e. transitional response coupled with maximum output)... you've shown that directly.

Coming out of the turns, it is more about smooth delivery of the torque. COLDSIDE!!!

Of course, that turbo is probably only 250WHP so we should cut it some slack. ;)

Throttle response and driveability are 2 of the greated parts of the FFS Coldside! I know what I'm going to get everytime I step on the go pedel, I never have to worry about spooling a turbo.

Midcorner throttlesteer is so much easier when you can modulate the power so precisely. it really is like driving a big na v6. Cant wait to see what the high output brings. is it goign to be like driving a na v8? ;)

I just read through the thread on Mturbo. Beating him at his own game is a sure way to get him to take note. Funny that about 2 years ago when I was still allowed to post over there I tried telling them that Lanny's alignment was just a street alignment and Hussler verbally assaulted me saying he used those numbers on his lightning fast track car. He has since learned better I see. I still think you should have included the FFS name in every post you made to that thread  then again we don't want to get you banished from their forum too ;).
