Well poop... Im depressed. Toms 1.6 MP-62 is definitely faster than mine now. The silver lining in this awful turn of events is that soon I can have the same! The Tom / Bill team have found the cure for the off idle roughness I pointed out a few weeks ago, They also found a few more horsepower and Ft/lbs:arabia: They have perfected 5th injector placement to the point that all four thermocouples on the header are running within a few degrees of each other and the #4 ( most rearward ) cyl is also running the COOLEST by about 50 deg acording to the datalog graphs Bill showed me. Hands off guys; I'm up next! Driving this thing back to back with Elphi was really eye opening (again) SOOO smooth and such a clean application. Oh! Did I mention the CARB approval letter. Its CARB approved in case you missed it. I did'nt see any dyno plots but I know mines making 170 to the ground on Keiths Dynojet and Im guessing another 5-10 hp and associated Tq on Toms Car (hangs head in shame) Tom / Bill will be taking it back to the dyno in a day or two to finalize fuel as its running on the rich side of safe right now; so, mabey a couple more ponys once its leaned out a bit. Tom says another 2 week wait for parts to come in before he starts my install; once my car is finalized and verified the fun for all can begin. Once again to reinterate, Smooth as glass, would never know their is a big'ol blower under the hood if you never put your foot into it! When you DO put your foot into it... Heh... umm: Its kinda quick

LOL. Sorry I depressed you so bad. ;) I started it this AM at 40*F and it started purrrfectly. Ran right of the get go. The updated Dobeck software is quite an improvement.

BTW, the 1.6L now has the Timing Card running great as well. We were afraid it wouldn't work on the 1.6L but Bill figured that out too. Now you can have timing adjust on the fly just like the 1.8L.

That is a contradiction, all cylinders can not be within a few degress of each other with #4 being 50 degrees cooler!

Are you saying your "few degrees" is really 50 degrees or so?

Yes, that is what he means. 50*F spread at 1400F is as good as stock.
