As long as he's not machining JRPC-Pro parts I'm ok with that for the near term
Any update on the Pro's?

I should have a beta 2 hardware revision module for test next week. Then we will be making a FFS special PC-Pro unit. It will have some features not available in the standard PC-Pro. I hope to have it all worked out in time for CARB.
The ones I will be shipping will be the modified version.

Because when you jump from a speeding car, there isn't time for the chute to open.

I think they were down in Mexico someplace? Cabo San Lucas? He is the official photographer for a lot of the precision dives. Don't know who ended up behind him to get his picture? He also makes those helmet camera mounts. One of several products they sell worldwide.

I would consider fellow skydiver discounts BUT I am not a fellow skydiver. You could not pay me to jump out of a perfectly good working airplane. :) I have only had a parachute strapped to my butt and back once and that was required as I was in a sailplane in Germany and the parachute was also the seat. He described all about getting out of the plane in an emergency and pulling one or the other cords and I explained as how I would go down with the ship even if both wings snapped off. :)
I love flying and do it regularly but there just seems to not be extra space on the Mooney for parachutes. ;)
