The answer is yes, I had a blast on the track. Car performed great. I had fun racing on the track with Tom. Thanks for coming out to play Tom :) Next time we have to do firebird and have Chuck join in the fun.

I ran my car at Mid-Ohio last week and had a blast. It was fun passing the Corvettes and Porsches in the straights. I ran a little higher octane just to be safe. I have the JR boost/timing controller installed and left the timing fully advanced all day with no ping. Next track day is in a couple of weeks at Nelson Ledges.

Only fuel they had at the track was 104 LEADED. My car loved it. :) Ari had his video camera running and should have some good footage. When he sends the raw video, we can size it down and upload it to FFS. I had my 11 year old grandson along (from Michigan) and he had a blast. First couple laps, he held the grab bar with a death grip but, after a couple laps, it loosened up and he relaxed and enjoyed it. Even the pass through the tight "S" where it got a but sideways seemed to just make his day. ;)
JICs worked great and the RA-1s also worked great after we worked the greasiness out of them. :) Track was a touch greasy as well due to the rain but it was still a great day.

I'd love to go out to the track with you guys. It's one of the things I was looking forward to when I moved out to Arizona - that I was so close to two tracks and one drag strip.
