Pic of e-Cool on the DTB

This is a picture of the e-Cool as installed on my 99. As you can see, the 5th injector is tapped into the meaty part of the DTB. This also avoids drilling into a round section of the DTB.

If you ever had any intention of running another injector at some point, I guess you can drill and tap a little higher on the DTB. That way you can fit two injectors on that side of the DTB.

IIRC, there was a hole that was capped off on the bottom of the DTB at 6:00. That was drilled for the ELF vacuum source.

Thanks for posting the pic Chuck.

My DTB is different than yours. There is no meaty part to tap into, so
I may have to have a bung welded to mine to accept the injector.

Hmm. I thought all the DTBs were the same? I don't remember Tom's 99 or 05 being any different than mine.

I guess BRP changed the DTB since I bought mine.

E-Cool is working like a charm!!!! The pinging is gone and I've even lowered my Elf's P3 pot to 5 and not a single ping.

Midpipe is going in this weekend and them I'm off to the dyno again.
