Hello Tom and folks,
Here is a question I have been meaning to ask for some time now.
A couple of years ago Richard (Big Gulp) came up with a neat variable ratio throttle linkage (VRTL)

Has anyone tried one yet?

Tom, remember my joy ride? When I feathered the acc. pedal? I wonder if this product would help.

Here is some old and new VRTL discussion from the Miata net:

Hi Pat, I posted this question a while back on Miata.net and got almost nothing. Just one response from JasonCuadra who basically said "Yup I have one"
After having my FFSC for a while I really don't see a need for it. Our power dilvery is so smooth and linear, it's just not called for. This is not to say I wouldn't take one if it were given to me.

I could see this being useful. Enough times when in some stop-and-go, in-town type of traffic getting on the gas after crawling along could be less jerky with greater leverage.

Traffic? I knew there was a reason I moved to the middle of the desert. :)
