Tom -
Have you charted the increse in hp after adding the BTB kit to a STB BR kit?
(Enough abbrev. for you?)

Abbrv's are OK. Enough military training and you can read anything. ;)
It will vary but I would think it is good for 12-15WHP at the 200WHP level. If you are currently making 160-170, it will probably only net ~5 as you are not working the STB very hard. The more WHP you make, the more important it becomes.

Actually, I think we do have this documented on my car. At least we have the dynos from every step of the testing phase. I just have to figure out when we did what.

OK, I think I get.
First, the car has to be at a point where the stock throttle body is a restriction. Then opening up the front end with the BTB will get significant gains in hp.
Maybe I am at that point with a 115mm pulley.

Yep. A 115mm pulley would spin the blower fast enough to make the BTB worthwhile.

Sorry but I haven't been on the site in quite a while.
So you have the BTB available for the BR hotsides? If so may I ask how much. I have my AA intercooler installed and getting ready to install the R4 and AIC (retired military), with a 120 pulley. With that, I am thinking the BTB will be needed soon.

I get $500 for the BTB Hotside kit. It includes the BBK 75mm BTB, TPS adaptor, BTB adaptor, rear mounting bracket for the SC, IAC plate and bracket, 3" hose, fittings and hoses.
It is a complete kit. it also corrects the cruise control drop out on hills problem.

That sounds like a sweet deal. I will be looking you up after I get all the bugs worked out on the current upgrades. Also once my wife comes back from deployment I will have to lay low for a month or so, It takes her a while to adjust to my obsession.
Once I get my R4 and wide band installed. I will start figureing out how to program the SS/AIC. By then I should be ready to tackle the BTB and be able to tune it.

Let me know if I can help with the tuning. I am relatively familiar with the SS.

Thanks I think I have it about right but I will let you look at a map and wb graph. Tell me what you think. No ping plugs, look good, pulls like mad.
