Latest word is that the kits will be ready to go by the end of September. That means I will be taking orders the first of October. Just so ya know. ;)
With a non-restrictive exhaust and engine meeting Mazda minimum compression specs, it will be 190WHP minimum on 91 octane fuel in Arizona heat. For cooler climates and better fuel, the 94-97 will make between 215 and 225WHP. The 99-00 will make 210-220 and the 01-05 will make 200-210. No extra cost for the larger pulley if ordered with the kit.
Target price is still $3500 DELIVERED in the mainland (48 states) USA.

That's great news, that means one step closer to the FFS90-93-HS kit.
Would a 1.6 kit use the PC-Pro?
And what kind of numbers would you expect with a non-restrictive exhaust and 91 octane fuel?

They will use the PC-Pro. It can be set for batch fire. I believe the 90-93 did that with the fuel injectors similar to the motorcycles. Not positive about that but I believe it to be true.
My goal is 190WHP minimum on 91 octane. Target is 200WHP+. 210-220 wouldn't hurt my feelings. :)

The best laid plans...... ;)
CARB and PC-Pro testing has just pushed the hotside back a bit. How much? I don't know at the moment. I'll get you an update ASAP.
Does the "Hotside" kit include the IC at $3500?
Any dino charts for 215-225hp claim?

There is no IC included with our kits. We recommend the Track Dog Racing A/A IC. Our hotside kit will be sold as a base 200 WHP. Min 190 for all climates on 91 octane, max 215-225 for those in cooler climates with 94 octane.
The only dyno we have so far is the 202 WHP base kit. Kits are waiting on the new SC outlet manifold. The castings have been delayed. As soon as they are in, we will get maximum WHP dynos.

This may be a dumb question.
But as the price is near enough the same,
and the power is near enough the same.
Yet the CS has superiour throttle response.
Why exactly would anyone want the hotside ?

Because the hotside has the "capability" of making a lot more power. Some people still dream of 300WHP Miatas. I can guarantee you wont get there with my coldside. But, with an engine built to take the punishment, you could get there with a hotside.
If your gaol is a Miata with a completely stock feel and 200WHP (more or less), I think the coldside is the way to go. If you want more WHP now or in the future, the hotside is the way to go. Our hotside, at 200WHP, will drive very well. I think that beyond 220WHP, you need too many thing$ and tho$e thing$ co$t. At the moment, I want to stay focused on the larger 200WHP market.
