I'm doing some research for upgrading my 1993's JRSC to the FFS. I may just do a complete 1.8 swap then put the FFS on the 1.8. What is worrying me is CARB.
I'm poking around on here (http://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/aftermkt/devices/amquery.php)
looking for information on the carb eo, and I can't even find that it applies to 1990-1993 cars, only the 1994+ 1.8s are listed.
I'm going to be pulling the engine on my car anyway, so I've got a couple options:
I just may swap my 1.6 -> 1.8 then buy a FFS. But I need to make sure it'll smog.
I just may swap my 1.6 -> 1.8, throw an NB Head on it, then buy and FFS. But I need to make sure it'll smog.
I just may keep my 1.6, freshen it up, then buy an FFS. But I need to make sure it'll smog.
