ANY IDEAS ABOUT THE NOISE ?

I have been hearing a metal squealing noise lately. It seems to sound like brakes noise but lighter. It happens when I put my foot on the gas pedal,
But if the preasure is to light or to heavy its gone. Could it be a throw out bearing in the tranny or bad belts? any one else have this and what have you found out? Any ideas at all on how to fig this out???

One more thing. WHen I push in the clutch pedal there is clicking, more of a feel then a sound, but the pedal has to start from all the way out, not between gears, because sometimes I don't let the clutch all the way out depening on how fast I am shifting at that time?it almost feels like what ever the medal arm is pushing onto by the fire wall is what is doing this.
Anyideas about this? can they be related at all? In both cases they don't seem to be effecting the cars operation at all right now? Year 2002
