Just got home from HF where I bought their 3000lb. racing jack for $84.99! It's the one that lowers down to 3" for those of us running lowered cars. I tried it in the garage and it raises quicker than my Sears floor jack. Thought I'd give the heads up.

Thom, I just walked into my local Harbor Freight....which it seems was my first mistake. The jack I bought is the first one that Chuck linked to, but in the store was labled at the "regular price" of $109. When it went "down" to $84 I thought it was a great deal. Turns out it is indeed a great jack for the price, but at $84 is not the special price I thought it was. Either way it is better than the Craftsman jack I have.

Walmart has one for $59. It looks about the same as all the other cheap racing style jacks.

Chuck these are two different ones. I have both of them. Avoid the smaller one (the blue one on your links) - it is very fragile and the weight of the Miata already broke one of the jack wheels. I used it only at the track (every few weeks) to change the race tires and after an year of use the bearing on one of the wheels broke and the jack wheel fell off.
The silver one (the one with the Rapid pump) is bigger, and much more tougher. I never had problems with it. Now I carry/use it every few weeks to replace the race tires - works flawlees
