When replacing the o-rings on the fuel rail, place them on the injector and apply a drop of oil to them before inserting. When properly inserted, the injector should turn freely. If it is tight and will not turn easily, the ring is folded over and will leak gasoline!
The same goes for the Fuel Pressure Regulator, which uses the same o-ring as the injector. (at least it is the same on a 96)
