I have a question about wheel alignements. The car doesn't seem to be pulling or driffting to one side or the other, but when I apply the brakes it seems to be pulling one the right side some what. What does theis mean?
How offen should get this done. I do not have any special alignement for autocrossing , it has albays been spec.

If it's pulling when you brake, it's probably your brakes and not your alignment.
As for me, I have a 4 wheel alignment done every time I get new tires or if I feel the car is alignment somehow (like the tires wearing funny).
I also use Lanny's Alignment numbers with me sitting in the car or my weight in the drivers seat. The Miata being such a light car, it does make a huge difference in the alignment.

Thom, one more possibility. If your car pulls on acceleration or braking it could be that one tire needs air. If that's not it then check the brakes, then alignment.

If the pulling was due to a tire low on air, it would pull while just cruising too.

Ok it does not pull while crusing, just when I touch the brakes. And I just checked the tire air and it was even all the way around. and right on the money, as I keep a good eye on it most of the time.

It could be as simple as a sticky brake slider pin. This is something that should be taken out and lubricated on occasion as it does tend to get stocky. At least this should be done at every brake job.
