A while back you mentioned that you discovered a way to control vvt. Can you share that with us?

I don't remember ever saying that. I did say we had played with trying to control VVT and then decided it wasn't worth the effort. The VVT didn't seem to be as big a problem as was originally posited by BRP. We made 192 on 91 octane.

My 05 has no driveability issues (after the oil warms up :)) and passes most everything. :) The only VVT issue it has is during the first 3-5 minutes of warm up while the oil is warming. The VVT doesn't react well with cold Mobil 1 10W40. As soon as it warms up, it runs as well as pre-00 Miata coldsides and make the minimum 190WHP. Since we did the E-Cool, we no longer have the VVT step in the dyno.

I forgot to ask, is the ELF+ out yet? It was supposed to be out weeks ago (well, months ago).

The ELF+ is "many months away" as of 3 days ago.
