Porsche owners don't like SC miatas

I have to admit I hadn't fully exploited my new power until today. I was on a little cruise showing my twin brother what the new SC would do when we were passed by a late 90's porsche (not sure which model) but it was a 911 style. As he went by he actually looked over and scoffed!! :lol: I saw his exhaust blacken and rearend squat so I instnctivly hit the gas. I didn't catch and pass him, but I stayed right on his tail for almost a 1 mile straight stretch of road until the next stop sign. Funny how the guy who made it a point to look at me before just looked straight ahead. :P I hope you're happy Tom.

Way to go Pat. Did you get the exhaust fixed yet? Another 15-25 WHP wouldn't hurt in circumstances like that. ;)

No, still the old rattling cat(s). I"ll be calling Goodwin on Monday to order his midpipe as it has both a connection for the o2 and an extra plug in the CAT for EGT. Tom, would that location be Ok for the AEM WB meter? If I can't get my hands on a Fed downpipe before it comes I'll just "empty" the first cat in the meantime. Dang! I should have taken Mike up on his offer for the stock muffler. :x

Yah, I kind of forgot my mechanical empathy today and even got sideways in fist and spun second some as well. I'm sure this will be the best fun money I'll spend for a loooong time. So many victims, so little time :D

Fix the exhaust and next time you run up against the Porsche he will be ecen more surprised.
