Let's welcome Shawn and his 97 to the Coldside. Seems like Ohio is becoming the popular state for kits.

Ken, I just added a welcome to Brian as well. His 97 kit is ready to ship. Ohioans are:
Ken - 96
Brian - 97
Shawn - 95
ThomS - 2002
Chip - 99

My coldside is in the 96 - not the 97!

Thanks. I fixed it. Looks like we have a lot of the years covered in Ohio. :)

Thanks for the welcome. I am excited to join the FFS family.
Hey Shawn,
I am also in Central Ohio (near Polaris) and would like to check out your car sometime. I would also be happy to lend a hand with the install if you haven't done it already. I had a 92 FMII Miata and an 03 Miata with an early BRP MP62 kit so I have some FI experience.
Thanks,
Tod

Welcome to the Ohio FFS Club.
I hope to see you at a autocross event this year! Look for SM2 9.
Hey Tom, I gave a ride to a potential customer at the OVR Autocross event held at the National Trails Dragway just outside of Columbus. Did he ever contact you to purchase a kit?
I bought a new toy last Thursday, a 2007 Mazdaspeed3. I just went to the dealership for a test ride and ended up driving it home. It's a sweet little hatchback!

Yep. I do believe you were directly and indirectly instrumental in both Brian and Shawn's purchases.
Sounds like a nice toy. Can it keep up with your Miata? :)
I just swapped the crystal in my spare ECU. Hopefully this wee we will see what it can do for power.

Tom, not yet but Corky's XEDE Engine Management for the Speed3 might help. It's supposed to add 65 whp and 70 pounds of torque. That adds up to around 290 whp and 310 wfp.
I bet those 18-inch tires are going to be expensive to replace.:nopity:

That's a pretty good gain for just re-tuning.
